If you’re a lawyer who wants a practice that combines complex business litigation and trials with early career opportunities to run your own cases, we’d like to hear from you. At KBL you will learn by doing, both by working with experienced lawyers and by managing cases on your own. Excellence in advocacy requires crisp legal writing, strategic choices at depositions, and on-your-feet thinking at hearings and trial—skills we will work with you to develop. Working with our team, you will learn how to make the key judgment calls in litigation that will let you solve the problems our clients face.

We are looking for candidates with a keen interest in advocacy who are ready to take a lead role in developing their own cases and clients early in their careers. Strong written and oral advocacy skills are a must. We recognize and credit the role that judicial clerkships can play in developing those skills, but equally welcome lateral candidates who have developed those skills in practice. We prefer candidates with 2-4 years of practice experience, but will consider exceptional candidates with any level of experience.
